TREAT ME LIKE I SHOULD REALLY BE TREATED! SHOW APPRECIATION WHEN I GO OUT OF MY WAY AT WORK TO HELP ANOTHER CO-WORKER WITH SOME MESS THEY REALLY SHOULD BE DOING THEMSELVES!

RESURRECTION SUNDAY
Today is Easter Sunday, in the Western world, celebrated by Christians as the day Jesus defeated death and rose from the dead. What a marvelous day for me and many others just like me who believe and accept Christ as their personal Saviour, and who believe there is hope for our own salvation in the fact that this Man died on a Friday over 2000 years ago and on the 3rd day, he beat the devil himself and defeated death as well.
Personally, I found much comfort in today - it is the basis of my faith. In accepting Jesus' death and resurrection I believe there is hope for me when the day comes to meet my maker face to face I will be redeemed by my faith in this doctrine and I will be spared the horrors of Hell and enter into the glories of Heaven.
Many will read this message and think how foolish this all might sound. I mean in all honesty, how many people do we know personally that have been raised from the grave? So many loved ones, so many friends we have lost in our lifetime - none have come back and said what it's really like for them now that they are gone from this earth. Our little earthly minds can't even conceive going from death to life, going to the funeral home, being pumped with fluids to sustain a realistic look for the living, going in the ground and in 3 days - rising up out of that grave and walking among our family and friends like nothing happened.
Wouldn't that be a trip, though? Showing up at the crib or our former jobs and greeting everyone with a hug like you had simply been on a short vacation! Imagine the looks on the faces of those you left behind - the joy and tears, and for some , anger! SURPRISE - I'M BACK!!! Can you even imagine what that must be like. Imagine trying to tell someone that your friend who you just buried showed up at the Mall looking pretty darn good for a dead guy!
The Bible says, "Trust in the Lord and lean not unto your OWN understanding, but, acknowledge God in all your ways, and He will direct thy path".
Somethings you just gotta have faith on, ya know. Like when you turn the light switch in your home on, you sorta know in your heart that the lights will turn on ( if you paid the bill, that is). I have faith that what I believe is so because it comes from a book that I truly believe is the undisputible Word of God, written by inspired men for me to read and to get to learn about God better. What if I'm wrong and it's all hoax?
